Passenger side front tire
I have a '04 Superduty and when I get in my truck in the morning and put it in reverse and start moving sometimes I hear I guess a grinding sounding from right front tire for a second then it's fine.It's in 2 wheel drive and I have shift on the fly if that helps any?Truck only has 2000 miles on it??Any idea??

Sometimes these auto hubs can remain locked after the vacuum pulse releases them.
First, turn the tires far left, get out and see if you can spin the axle shaft on the passenger side. (You should be able to turn the shaft at the ujoint)
If it does not spin freely take it to the dealer for warranty work on the hub and/or ESOF system.
Have you tried to engage and then disengage the system to see if it will unlock?
