Hey all again. I just have a question for anyone that's redone the floor of their cab. I know I can get floor panels for the front of the cab, and the front body mounts, but what do I do to replace the rear "step" that the seat and the rear body mounts are on? There aren't any holes in it yet, but it's like, peeling..pretty weird.
I know I can get the floor pan, left and right. I need the sheetmetal that's underneath the seat though..from the floor panels all the way back to the back of the cab.
I had a similar problem. so i went to the hard ware store got some sheet metal and made my own planes. not too pretty but cheap and once i put the carpeting down one can tell.
what about finding another cab and cutting out what you need? I haven't seen anyone that makes a replacement for that section of the cab. Have you tried removing the paint and looking at what is really going on?
haha... I didnt notice that! I just stumbled across this when I was doing the same kind of fix. Do you think he still needs help with his cab or has it gotten 11 years worse?
