Door Vent Removal??

Door Vent Removal??
How hard is it to remove the side vent glass and frame from a 65? My lock handle is broken off of mine and I have another whole unit replace it with. I'm not sure how everything comes apart. Whats the deal with the lower pivots. Mine no longer has resistance. They just kind of flop around.
Any tips or other info would be great!

There is a nut with a tension spring on the bottom of the lower pivot inside the door.
If you download the .pdf format catalog from Dennis Carpenter there is a exploded view of the door (p.57-60)- might help.
I've had mine out before, but don't recall exactly how.
