what gear code is this?????
1968 U142 heavy duty package and the code for the rear end is A5. I cannot find a reference for a A5 anywhere. Anyone have any Idea what this code means. Appreciate any helpThanks

well i jacked up the oldgirl and did the driveshaft spin count. I get about 4.25 turns of the driveshaft for one rotation of the rear tire(detroit locker) so I am assuming that I have a 4.11 gear set. Does this sound right, I cant get any verification thru the code on the vin tag in the glove box.thanks again
