Super Charger on 04 3V 5.4 L F150

Anyone install a super charger on their 04 3v F150 yet? Im going to install one and am leaning towards Kenne Bell. Any feed back on this or any other brand you may have used would be helpful. Thanks Dennis. 04 2wd reg.cab 5.4L 3.73 LS

I sure haven't done it, but would be real interested if you could let us know how the install went, and what gains you got.

Keep us in mind!!!

I don't think any of the Super or Turbo chargers are out yet for the 04/05. But why would you choose Whipple? Reputation?

I think stylin concepts sells a supercharger for about 5 gs. Its a Roushe and says it wont affect the warranty. Yea right.

This is the one you want... The KB is not intercooled, and used that POS Boost a Pump, which ends up killing fuel pumps, because it spikes up to 17v to a 12v load. A band-aid in other words.

With the Procharger... 2 valve 4.6 L 5-speed, 178 RWHP. Dyno proven.

The 5.4 L 2-valves make about 40-50 HP more, and with your 3-valve, we expect 50-60 RWHP more than that!

I am running a T-67 now, and I gained 299 HP with it. 488/542 at the wheels now, dyno proven.

See the project from Procharger to turbocharger here...

www.trixtersracing.com/project02.htm

And my partner Mark's 5.4 L here...

www.trixtersracing.com/turbotime.htm

It made 425/535 at 8 PSI with the turbo. 12.65s at FFW this last Summer. It weighs 5650!

Whipple just started taking orders for the 5.4 2v and should be close to doing so for the 3v. They have not actually said when the units will ship. They have dyno results for the 2v on the website. At $5400 the system is not cheap but I fell it is the best system out there. I am waiting for the retailers to get them to see what kind of pricing they will offer.
