TLW- Here's a question for you: Installed the remote start and everything works great when it is warm, truck starts and even goes to high idle. When I go to start the truck cold, it will start and run until it goes to high idle then shuts off. Any ideas? You said that you had to order tach voltage stabilizer from Ford - do you have a part number?

For all SD's up to 2004 the part numbers are:
Gold Series: 2W7Z19G364AA - includes Keyless entry and Security System
Silver Series: 2W7Z19G364BA - includes keyless entry
Bronze Series: 2W7Z19G364CA - remote start only

All series work with all options. Must have A/T, no M/T support.

When posting a reply that is directly above …
THERE IS NO NEED TO USE THE QUOTE FUCTION..Admin
Thanks

I aleady have the remotes to lock and unlock the doors and the panic alarm.
I don't have the keypad entry strip on my door.
If I buy the Bronze ( remote start only ) will my lock, unlock and panic features still work or do I have to buy the Silver to keep those features?
TIA.

rotomech, I will post the part # for the tach stabilizer tomorrow.

walc, the bronze package will still allow you to use your factory keyless entry, but will have to carry two key fob's around with you. Tim

Question Neutral Safety Switch wire color/location?

I am trying to get the turbo timer to work on my Code Alarm remote start that the dealer had installed locally. The NSS wire was tied directly to ground by the installer so it would always start. I need to hook up this wire correctly to the NSS so that the module can see the transition from Drive to Park. Anyone know where the NSS wire can be located under the dash and what color it is?

TLW, Are the Black/Blue (Dome Light) and the Brown (Park Light) wires at the same place above the transmission hump with those three connectors? The instructions say they are at the Drivers side Kick Panel, But I cannot find them.

TJ, the black/blue wire I used was behind the kick panel on the drivers side. It is in a harness that runs down under the door sill, the brown wire can be found there too, or you can hook it up in the harness over the hump(brown one that is). Good luck!!!. Tim

Just had a Clifford Matrix 3.5 AS/Alarm installed and the only issue I have is w/ the radio in my '04 EXC continuing to play until a door is opened, which kills the radio. Is there any way to make the radio shut off as soon as the ignition is turned off.
