Reason: Not titled correctly
Sounds like the heater core is weak and seeping some fluid under the pressure of your agressive acceleration. At this point the best way to check is to remove the core and inspect for signs of leakage in the heater box.
The 6.0 is notorious for blowing coolant out of the degas bottle cap, thanks to the EGR cooler system. A good 30 percent of these trucks have this problem.
Sometimes the caps are faulty, othertimes it is just too much pressure. Check under the hood and see if there is residue around the overflow bottle; there is about a 98 percent chance this is the problem. The dealer will provide a new cap, if you need it.
Well I sure can't read his mine! where did he say it was a diesel?

They always bite ya!
It could be a heater core or what PSD 60l fx4 said.
It also could be a leaky heater hose on the passenger side in the engine compartment .A coomon problem also, the hose drips/leaks into the sparkplug area. this on gassers 5.4/6.8
chk the floor on the passenger side ,lift the carpet see if its wet.

Just for clarification is the truck diesel or gas? Like FortyFords said check the carpet. If its wet chances are the heater core is leaking. Try an aggressive road test and when you get the smell inside the cab check the heater hoses where they attach to the heater core. If the hoses are the problem there will be some coolant at the connection. If the hoses are dry, check for leaks around the engine. Unless the problem becomes obvious, i.e. dripping coolant on the gound or steaming the windshield, you will need to do some investigative work.
Thank's a lot you guys. Sorry to leave out the diesel part. I just dropped off the truck at Vista Ford and I gave them all of your ideas and experiences. I hope they can find it and get it fixed. The truck also idles rough, lunges forward by itself to try to correct and chugs and then stalls. It is starting to do it while I am driving at 60 mph now. The Dealer has changed a part on a lot of trucks that they say fixes that problem??? They said it is some wiring that wears through because it it routed over something hot from the factory??? The other dealers just said, oh we did a re-program to fix it. I got to the end of the block and it died. I hope with all of your help I can get it fixed. It has been like driving an old chevy,,, stalling and stinking. THANK YOU everyone, for your help, I'll let ya know what they come up with. Frank
