lifting my bronco

i have an 88 bronco with a 302 and i was thinking about getting a 6 inch procomp suspension lift with extended radius arms. I want to do it myself but im not sure how hard it is. i dont want to have to do any welding. and would i be able to do it in my driveway with jacks or do i need to have a lift?

It is not too difficult of a job to do, the hardest part is getting the old bolts loose. Loctite from the factory and years of rust/dirt need some persuasion, like a cheater bar or heat. It is easier with air tools, but ca nbe done without them, just takes longer. Give yourself about 8-10 hours for the front and 3-4 for the back. No welding is needed, but I did weld the passenger-side axle pivot drop bracket to the frame for added strength on my Skyjacker 6" lift.

get a couple of friends to help ya those parts are heavy and ocward. give everything a good spray of penetrating oil a day or two before. figure a weekends worth of work easy and dont forget about getting the front end aligned after.
I have this same lift, but found a shop to install for under $350. figured it was better then doing myself. the extended arms will require drilling into the frame along with various other brackets needing new holes in certain places.

good luck and take lots of pics
