I now this is a big topic, all I have heard so far is discussion on the 03 and 04 PSD 6.0 liter. Does any one know if the 05 PSD 6.0 liter still has a EGR plate or not. Or if I do not remove the plate if there is one will I get the same results from just unplugging it.

I just got your private message- the 2005 intake elbow does not have the throttle plate assembly installed; there is nothing you need to do other than simply remove the plug off the EGR valve itself.
mine is am 04 04 and I have had the egr unplugged for awhile. Do I need to remove the throttle plate or just leave it. I waas thinking about seeing if I could get the new flash for the mpg and hesitation but if I have the plate out could this hurt my warranty in your opinion. Also aren't you in the DFW area? If so, what dealer do you use? Thanks in advance!

Go to the Tech folder, and visit the EGR thread...it will answer all of those questions from both a pro and con side for you.
Were you asking me if I am in the DFW area? No, I am in North Carolina...
