antilock brakes
I have a 93 Ranger and the antilock light is on. I had to pull the fuse so the truck would stop when I wanted it to. What's wrong? The pads and shoes are good and the master is full. No air in the lines either. Thanks for your help.

First make sure the master cylinder is full, the float is not sticking, the back brakes are adjusted correctly, the connection to the RABS valve and VSS is good. If everything is OK the you need to pull the code. Locate the test connector under the drivers dash just above the parking brake, it has a blk/org wire, see if it has a red wire connected to it. I can give you further instructions and the pinpoint tests for the code. Is the red parking brake light on also? Do both lights turn on and off when you first go to start it, the self test.
