Antilock and Brake Light problem

I have a 1990 F250 that I replaced a rear metal brake line. I bled all wheels starting at the right rear then left rear then right front then left front and finally the abs hydraulic unit on the frame rail. My antilock and brake light will not go off. I bled three times over with the same results. The truck feels to have a good pedal. Any ideas.

Check the float switch and wiring connection at the master cylinder. A problem there can cause both lights to come on.

I remember on my dads truck the light didnt go off after we bled them until i drove it and had to push the breaks really hard, (not sure what was up with that) but it went off. it could be a wheel speed sensor... you could try disconnecting the battery for 5 min or so (whatever it takes to reset the computers data codes) and see if it still comes on...

The ABS computer doesn't have any memory, so it resets every time the key is turned off.

haha not sure... llight sounds tuff.... i guess just pump the pressure up once while sitting (like, push the brakes real hard once) and see if they go off... i dont think u nessassarily have to be moving for it to work, but i guess its a good break check... If it goes off after you push them, and they feel good, don't bleed them again.

I went through and replaced all brake lines, front brakes wheel cylinders, master cylinder and the light is still on so I just unplugged the abs hydraulic unit. The brake light went off but abs light is still on. I can live with that. The brakes have never stopped so good

open the glove box and let it drop down and you will find the abs controller and unplug it and the light goes out

before you bleed the brakes, you need to center the ABS valve.
unless you do this, the lights will stay on.

I thought that only applied to the early models with that type valve. That valve is near the master cylinder if I read my manual right. I do not have it. The only valve I have is the abs hyd valve located on the frame rail. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

I have a Haynes manual and only thing that they talk about centering is the pressure diff valve near the master cylinder for early models only. Am I missing something?
