I want to put a flat bed on my 250 and I'm wondering what you guys are doing with the filler tube for the fuel tank. I had a 94 350 w/ a dump bed and it was a major project to put gas in it without spilling it everywhere. Pics would be great. Thanks
at least these are outside, not in the cab with me.
plus they are about 3/16-1/4 thick, not sheetmetal. I want to get two more matching tanks for the back doors too. I have a 60 gallon tank for under the bed, but I think I will put it in my B-7000 bus instead.
WHD507 - those really are nice tanks!! With my built 460, they'd save me a lot of time going to Texaco twice / three times a week PLUS I could start dragging my spare around with me..... can you supply a web link for the makers of theses toe warmers..... ooops; I meant tanks?..
one of the parents at the school I teach at, can make me full-length aluminum step tanks for about $500 each. I would have to get them polished though.
This aint fancy, but i built a trailer jack with four staggered 2x6s and a piece of tire tread for a handle. I keep it in the tool box, and when i fill up , i drive up on it and it fills a lot quicker. poor cowboy way.
