alright i was trying to find some idiotic things on ebay and i finally found it, if someone buys this thing for a million dollars, he or she should be clobered for god sakes
I dont believe it. But I saw a show about a guy who made a carberator in the early 1900s that he used on his V8 motor and end up getting close to 90 mpg. The show also said that the carberator was somehow destroyed as long with the plans. Their where guys trying to figure out how to make it again but never sucseeded. I think I saw it on discovery channel.
heard of a gm years ago that a customer had a 305 got 30 something mpg then gm recalled the car the carb was changed and the guy then got someware around 12 , and that was where i work s/m backs the story up as fact. would love to know for sure but have heard that more then 1 time from diff. people
If there was any validity to it an oil company would buy it and the rights to it and melt them down. Cutting world oil consumption in half would have serious implications on the price of oil and the world economy.
Ya gotta watch those ebay people... I just saw some rust patch panels for front fenders on a 73-79.... buy it now was 2500.00 starting bid of 1500.00
what do these people think..?
You can't beat the laws of physics. To drive your truck at 60 mph requires so much horsepower and to generate this horsepower requires so much fuel per hour in any given engine. Nothing can change the fact that this amount of fuel is required. Now most trucks use more than the minimum fuel but not that much more. So therefore improvements of about 2-3 mpg are possible maybe even a little more. but improvement of 20 plus mpg are not possible.
