4.6-5.4 Diffrences
so just what exactly are the diffrences between the 4.6 and 5.4? just by a visual i can see almost nothing diffrent.. and some specs i saw showed that the 5.4 just has a longer stroke creating more displacement.... is it possible to "stroke" out a 4.6L and create a 5.4? or am i missing the picture here

The 5.4L block is taller and wider than the 4.6L. This is how they get the longer stroke. The bore size and bore spacing are the same so the heads will interchange, but the block, rods, crank timingchains, intake manifolds, etc are different.
