5.4 Troubles
I drive a 2001 F-150 with a 5.4. Every time it storms my truck gets water above the spark plugs and starts to misfire on anywhere from 1-3 cylinders. The first time i pulled the plug wires and soaked everything down with silicon spray. Next time it stormed badly again same problem and thats where i am now. I talked to the dealership he said he gets them in everyday, sounds like a flaw to me. I wondered if anyone has seen similar problems and if anyone knows of some sort of fix. dodge has boots on their hemi's i wonder if there is anything similar for Ford
