what smells?
when i am driving down the highway, at 55-65 or so mph, i will be giving it gas and sometimes the truck wont do anything, the engine will get quiet, and i have to floor it to the get the rpms up. what could be causing this??

94 ranger 4.0 4wd

Maybe a clogged fuel filter? Not really sure, but thats would be where i'd start first.

i will check the fuel fliter< but there is not cel on so i cant check the codes cuz it"s a '94
