Automatic To Standard
OK, I have a 94 ford ranger 4x4 short bed with a 3.0 and a A4LD trans (witch is junk!) I would like to put a standard tranny in the ranger out of a 88 bronco that is a 4x4 with a 2.9. Looks like the pedals will bolt right up under the dash, but i was wondering about the bellhouseing and the wireing. Looks like it wont be too hard to do but my luck is a 2hr job ends up being a 2 week job. I don't want to put another A4LD auto in the ranger becuz they are junk. So i want to put a standaerd in. I was also wondering if the ranger's transfercase will bolt onto the bronco's standard tranny, because of the push button 4x4 feature in the ranger. I have looked though alll the post and found some of the same questions but nothing with this year diff (unless I over looked it) And I would like to know before I get the torches out.
