When at the beginning of february? I tend to make it in town about once a month since i'm only 90 miles down 44 right now. On the schedule i'm on now I'd be in one of the first two weekends, should be able to do some schedule tweaking to line some stuff up.

On another sidenote, I visited Bigfoot offroad just to see what their accessory shop was all about when i was wrapping up my 4x4 conversion, was looking for some D44 parts. About all they do is chrome wheels and light bars (I know, i know, you'd be right at home ). Seeing bigfoot was neat and all, i just wish they had a "real" parts department.

You're coming thru St. Louis, Ivan? Maybe we can scedule some wheelin and playing in the mud. I've got a few (ok, 20) acres and we can go play around in the field (assuming that the field will be thawed out by then...).

I'll have to pull up the dates but it'll be the very beginning of Feb, like maybe the first weekend? My sister has her national meet down there so I'm flying down to help her. I think she lifts Saturday and other than that I'll have some spare time. I think we even scheduled an extra day to hang out. Possibly in on Friday morning and back out Monday afternoon. It would be a blast to meet up with you guys.

Sorry to hijack the thread-
Anyone else in the St. Louis area wanna come play? I got a field in front of my house and we can build a trail thru the woods. And just make a day of it. Bonfire, brats, trucks, ATV's...
Moulton's only 5 hours away, Saurian...

Hm...80 bucks in gas there and back...

Suppose I'll have to throw it down as "under consideration." My truck will be so uncool compared to everybody else's. =P Will it be on a Sunday?

House springs is only about 30 minutes from my house, in fact i drove through it on my trip home when i had my major breakage. I'll lay odds the field won't be thawed at the beginning of febraury, but oh well, that just means no one will get stuck . Hopefully I'll have plenty of time over christmas to get my winch working, bumper is actually the issue right now. . .

Gotta agree, Feb in the midwest you probably aren't gonna see alot of mud, and if you do it is a weird winter although you might find some snow, I used to hate it when the ground was thawed in feb. makes calving a mess.

Yea, Ivan and I were chatting and it sounds like he'll be thru on Sunday. According to weather.com, the average high in Feb. is 45. Might make for some chilly wheeling, but at least there won't be any need for air conditioning. We'll have to see how things go closer to the date.
Hey Justin, you need someplace to work on your rig, I can carve an area in the shop to work on stuff out of the weather.

I'd take you up on that except the only time i really need to work on it is when it's broken and undriveable I have a 3 bay garage that's handy for working on cars or rebuilding axles and what not, so the only time i'm in the weather is for pulling things off of the truck that would require me to have it jacked up, like axles and transmissions.

I may get ahold of you when I'm ready to go solid axle, but i still need to redo the axle and buy brake parts so it may be quite the way off with teh way money flow is right now .

Just have to see closer to time. Just probably have to take the next Monday after that off or something to drive on home...I dunno - make sure to bug me a bit before then.

Yea, ya'll are welcome to sleep in the shop, or rough it camping out in the field. At least in the shop it's outta the wind and stuff and it'll be 40 degrees, minimum. That's where I got the torpedo heater set.

I'd make it to your place in 5 hours...just to St Louis would be about 4 hours. Map quest tries to say it takes 3 and a half hours for me to get to KC - pfft.

I just wish you lived on the west or north side...I'll get lost trying ot find your place. Assuming this all happens.

The meet is going to be at the hHoliday Inn. They don't exactly get all gfancy like for these events . . . even being a national meet. He're's the addy . . . let me know if it's close to anything:

Holiday Inn
St. Louis-Westport
1973 Craigshire St.
St. Louis, MO 63146

I had a feeling the shop at Biggfoot wouldn't be too great (although maybe I can score some bling whiole I'mn down there) but I want to check out a few of the trucks and my nephew will be with me so he's gotta see them.

I'm gonna have to check out the bling shop here in Iowa at lineville (saurin maybe you can check it out instead) supposed to have alot of good deals, and a heck of alot closer than st louis if that is all bigfoots place carries.
And saurin why would it take you longer than 3-1/2hrs to get to KC from centerville, it's less than 180 miles, and the speed limit in MO is 70
