I'm looking for a mostly on road / moderate off road 35 x 12.5 tire to fit my '05 F250 - so a 17" or 18" rim. I don't want to go "singing" down the road like I do with my Swamper SSR's on my Bronco.
Give me your opinions.
Here's what I've found so far:
BFG AT - my favorite tire for this type of application, but closest size is 315/70 - 17 which looks tall and thin to me at 34.5" x 12
Pro Comp AT - seen many discussion about their lift kits - what do think about their tires?
Interco TRXUS - wild tread design.
Dick Cepek FCII - the most expensive - worth it?
Mickey Thompson Baja Belted HP - whadya think?
Nitto Terra Grappler (325/65 -18 so more like 35 x 13) - look good, but I know nothing about them.
Thanks for helping me make the right call before dropping a load of $$ on my tires!

I have the 35" Procomp All terrains on my truck and the 16.5" rim. These are really good tires with little road noise. The ride is nice and the tread wear has been awesome. I have about 25K on the tires and look to get atleast 25K more.
I'm a BFG fan, so I would go with those. 34.5 x 12 is about the same as 35x12.50, which is a nice looking tire, if looks are important. The BFG All Terrain is a truely great tire. I'm very impressed with them in 33x12.50-16.5 size on my F350 .
Check out the BFG website for specifics on the exact size of a 315/70-17 BFG AT and what rim width is recommended for them: www.bfgoodrichtires.com.
I have BFG's on my truck right now, but just 235's I have read that Parnelli Jones are good for road noise. That is what I am lookin at gettin in the future.
I just bought the Cepek Radial FC-II's and I love them. I got a 315/75R16's (35's) and I paid $780 shipped to my door. It was the best price of any of the tires I was thinking about. I got them from Offroad Superstores they are online and mailorder only. Good luck
