Greg, Basically (it is molded) it is a L shaped piece of metal bolted to the bed floor and top rail that will hold a tire upright inside of the bed.

I need a picture also. My '66 doesn't have a spare, but in the bed on the right/passenger side towards the cab there is a squarish tube with a slot down the middle with a large bolt and nut on it. I believe this is where the spare went. Do I just need a large washer to go under the nut which would go through one of the lug nut holes in the spare, or is there a few other parts? I also don't see a jack anywhere so I guess buy a bottle jack and a lug wrench. This would be a good application for my factory tool box if I can figure out a way to prevent those items from bouncing and sliding around in there........ (or just stuff under the seat).
