Question Q for Jeff on 5-speed availability

I posed this question over on the 2004-2005 Ford F-150 forum and a user reccommended I ask Jeff. Any updated info regarding the availability of the 5-speed manual in the 2005 F-150? Last I heard not till after January 1, but no one seems to know much about it. I've ordered an STX with the 4.2 and the %-speed, I'll wait as long as I have to, but it would be nice if someone knew something about the delay. What ever light you can shed on this subject would be appreciated.

When I try to order one, the Ford computer just says, "manual transmission delayed- timing TBD." Until they post a date, that's all I can tell you. Sorry.
