05 Expedition..adding Dash Speakers
First time FTE user....
I just bought a very "basic" 05 expedition. It came with only door speakers. I'm not looking for "concert" sound. I just want the overall sound to be balanced in the front seat. Any suggestions on adding dash speakers? How hard is it to get to the head unit to wire speakers up? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

F4... look into a good quality set of component speakers. You will love the difference they make in the sound quality. I think they will give you the "balance" you're looking for. Mount your tweeters up high and your mids in the stock location. I installed a set of Infinity's in my 97. Components in the front and 2 ways in the rear. I changed out the factory sub with a sony sub and it sounds great! Crutchfield has some good deals right now on speakers. Check them out at www.crutchfield.com
