460 rv motor different internally?

I have never heard of a steel 460 crank, only the 429 medium duty trucks had a factory steel crank as far as I know of. As for rods, I doubt it, the factory rods can get you to 550-600 HP, I would suspect that Ford knows the passanger/light-truck rods are quite fine for any RV use. I would bet that RV or pickup-truck, its all the same and all interchangable.

If you look at rebuild kits, They state the intake gaskets are different between the two. Maybe different intake? My 93 F250 had a stock double roller timing set. The lower end I can put money on is the same as truck and van motors.
