03 stock intake assembly

anyone with an 03 save their entire stock intake assembly after installing a Mac or an Airaid? I want to take off my airaid to put the stock assembly back on but I tossed mine like an idiot after i put my airaid on last year.

I've got mine, but it's 2000. Why are you going back to stock?

Anyhow, if it works i'll sell it to you for 300, let me know

bucks?!?

300 pounds of your sweetest cheeba. If it'll fit, let me know and you can come to socal and pick it up, and check out eachother's trucks. You'd have to drive here, of course.

Anyhow dude, if it fits and you are serious, let me know. I'm dying to get rid of the stocker, takes up too much room in my fortress, er, castle.

nah forget it. I ended up throwing mine out because no one will ever buy it and it has no value. I paid 200 bucks for my 4.10 gears that I gave away for 50 bucks on this site just a few weeks ago. I just expected somone to hook me up. But I'm not going to pay full retail for something that isn't worth anything. You guys didn't even pay anything for them, they have no value. But if you want to keep them that badly then just keep them. I'll think of another way to solve my snorkle problem.

I think 'busa wants the original rubber factory snorkel, not the gold plated one.

Yeah guys, you didnt pay 14K+ for your trucks, you never actually bought your intake. Besides, whenever TOM needs something, and is completely serious, everyone needs to bend over backwards to help him. Its in FTE rule book, chapter 4, section 2A, Paragraph 8, sub paragraph 2, article 184. They have no value, therefore, even though he was originally going to pay something for it, it has no value.

Love always,
Garrett

It's paragraph 3 Garrett, I think you should brush up on your reading. If anyone needs a copy of Chapter 4, i'll email it to them, just let me know

No, paragraph 3 is the following rule:

Any member, or members, inheritantly metriculating ones gasoline propelled automobile, will due, until others, proceed with.....blah blah blah.

You must have the old version...Im on version 4.

Yes I know we paid for them but If I take off my rear tail lights and install some really cool aftermarket ones and a buddy of mine broke one of his stock tail lights then I would just give him my old one. I wouldn't look up the retail value or call ford and ask them what they charge for a new one, then knock 20 bucks off it and charge him the rest. The rear light is useless to me, therefore I would give it to him, or just ask him to buy me a 6 pack.

50 bucks is all the old used stock intake is worth. I can buy a brand new one for less than 300.

50 bucks is my offer, plus shipping.

Tom, it looks like you could use 99-04 intake assemblies.
Perhaps a stocker for your airaid trade?

Hmm, that link doesn't go to where I copied and pasted from.

O.k. 'busa, what are you up to?? Surely you don't want to go back to the stock intake from your CAI. C'mon spill it, maybe someone has a better idea. How about a junker ? Or, if all else fails, there's alway's e-bay!

WV,

I'll trade ya? What year do you have? The only problem with trading is that our vehicles will be out of service for a week while we wait for each others parts.

Travel,

Nothin's up. Have you read this entire thread from the very first post. My Airaid sucks in too much water offroad. The biggest problem is that the fan rotates in the direction that my intake is in and scoops the water up and throws it right on top of my filter. I tried to seal it off a million ways but nothing works. I just want the stock housing back so that I can run it through my fender wall, or make a snorkel out of it.

The 2 horsepower I'll lose from switching back wont even be missed.

Tom,

The whole overpriced thing was just a joke. I didn't really want 300 bucks, although 300 pounds of your sweetest cheeba would be nice. (surely someone has to know that line from Half Baked).

Anyhow, I'd have to ship it from San Diego, you know that. I have no problem getting rid of it, I have no use for it. I've already gotten rid of the K&N drop in, so you'd have to get another or just get a fram or something.

If you feel compelled to send me the airaid like WV wanted, you could do that once your receive my stocker. But i'm not going to make a fuss about it.

PM me dude! I'd actually like to get rid of it.

Armand
