any body done this im trying to figure it out, and im rally talkative this morning i guess thats what 6 cups of coffee does. like to be able to start the truck without having to get into it. my truck has a aux idle controller too so i cant just bypass the switch permantly. just want a push button so i can push it and turn the key
put it on a toggle switch, mount the toggle in parrell with the clutch switch, or just completely bypass the switch, your aic should still work just fine if you do either. we always bypassed the clutch switch on gassers for the same reason, just had to get used to using the parking brake and not leaving the truck in gear when shuting it off.
i didnt want to bypass all togethor because when you push in the clutch it disingaes the aic. just wasnt sure of which wires, i have to replace that pedal joint today and figured while im under there....
I.C. I think a toggle would be a good idea but it wouldn't shut off your AIC when you pushed the clutch if you left the toggle on, but a momentary contact push button or toggle would work too, if you hooked them in parrelle with the Clutch switch. sounds like a good idea but how to mount it in a convient place and turn the key with out gwtting in would be the hard part
got it done just put a nice chrome pushbutton to the left of the sterring wheel, works great. if the aic is running the truck and you hit the button it drops back to idle, kinda nice having it there now can slow the truck back down to idle right there
