Keyless Entry Remote Sensor
I just bought a 1998 Ford Ranger and the keyless entry worked fine. About two days after I got the truck, it stopped working, so I thought maybe the battery. Changed the battery and still it didn't work. I then read the owner's manual and thought I would try to reprogram the remote. It says that I should turn the key off to on 5 times and the doors would lock and unlock. I have tried many times with turning the key from the off to on position and the doors do not luck/unlock. So I am thinking maybe a fuse is blown...So I looked at all the fused that are in the inside fuse panel and found none that looked blown and the owners manual, that I could find, never mentioned which fuse is for the keyless entry.
So, does anyone know if this is a fuse problem...and if so which fuse is the keyless entry fuse, I would also love to know wehre the remote sensor is located.
Any help would be much appreciated.
