I have a 91 Ranger with manual windows. I've looked at the do-it-yourself after market power window conversion kits (like Colibri and Electric Life, www.a1electric.com), but I would rather keep everything stock.
I've found a place where I can get new OEM power window regulators, switches and motors for stock power windows. Is it a simple matter to take out the manual regulator and install the power window regulator, motor, wiring and switches? Is there something that I would need other than those items? I know it will cost 2 or 3 times as much to do it this way, but I also don't like conversion kits, that may not fit "exactly" right.
