i just saw this commercial for a cd protector you can keep on it even when playing. First time i've ever seen this commercial and it sounds pretty cool. Check it out: http://www.d-skin.comMight buy some next time i'm uptown. Let's hear some opinions about this product.

Reason: wrong link
wouldnt it be cheaper to make back up copies of the cd's and use the backups?
at $1 or more per protector...a collection of cd's could cost $200 to $300
but you can get blank cds for 25 cents each! and make 2 copies of your favorite cds in case you lose one.

thats what i do it's just in my truck i am constantly scratching them up. it's more money than just making copies. usually 3 or 4 of them a year to make back ups. when i first get a cd i always make copies. before i even listen to it.

I have recently just started copying my Cd's and putting them in books. I love being able to not have to worry about damaging them. I value my CD collection almost more than any other material object. Except my gun collection. I hope to be investing in a Champion safe soon to put both in.
I don't let anyone borrow my cd's...period. I've got a stack of cheap Wal-mart cd's that I use to make copies for other people... They cost $19 for a stack of 100 discs... For me it's well worth the few cents to make a second copy so I don't have to keep track of who has what cd....
