Stalling after idling.

I have a question. My stepson's service truck is a PSD and after it sets and idles for a few minutes and the transmission is placed in drive, it dies immediately. After restarting, it is fine until next time it sets and idles. Any thoughts??

Thanks, Bill in KY

Hey, your problem sounds quite similar to the one that i had a little while ago... and if it's the same thing that happened to mine it shoule be an easy fix... ok first off... you might want to put a new fuel/water seperator in it and drain the bowl... but! before you replase it... there is a sensor inside the bowl.. on the driverside about 1/2 way down the threads... gentilly clean this hole out with Q-tips till they dome out clean... re-install everything and hopefull this will fix ur problem!! good luck and let me know if it works!
