Some Interesting New parts

The place I got my new bed from http://www.northernclassictrucks.com/ is now selling a couple of interesting new items. They now make a steel transmission cover for the 48-52 trucks which as far as I know was previously only available in fiberglass. They also make a spare tire carrier for those years. Unfortunately I've seen someone on Ebay trying to sell one of these as NOS. I was lucky enough to find the original for my truck laying in a shed. Anyway they do make nice parts.

I posted on this board the other day about the guy on eBay with the transmission cover. On a couple of other boards there has been discussions about this guy. I find it interesting his is using the identical picture from Northern Classics web site and his "Buy it now" price is higher than Northern's price by $40.

I believe that a direct decendent of PT Barnam invented/founded E-Bay.
They sure prove the theory that there is a sucker born every minute.
