Nathan, who do you normally deal with at The Old Car Centre?? I am only 1/2 hour from there and been to the store many times. I actually stopped going a while ago becaue there was only one guy there that would talk to you with out attitude etc.. It was like they were doing you a favor by selling you something.
The last time I bought something they were much better and they did offer to bring some parts in from the U.S. for me. They said they split the shipping cost they pay between the parts that were ordered.
I mainly just order the parts and not strike up a conversation but whoever I talked to seemed to have a good understanding of the questions I've asked.
Welcome to the forum; You will find many exceptional people with a lot of knowledge on these old fords. I am also from Sask. building a 1950 merc M47. Seeing as your in Norhtern Alta. Try George Moir Antique auto parts in Stony Plain, Alta. I have had excellent results with parts from him.(he uses a lot of Dennis carpenter parts) He has truck parts to 1956.
