Oil Troubles

Okay, whenever I go to put oil in my truck (which is more often than I would like), I notice that there is a lot of condensation in the oil filler cap, and the inside of hole that the oil goes down is covered in a thick, pale yellow foam. My cap is always on tight, and I'm not sure, but I thought maybe the yellow foam could be because water is getting into my oil? Oh yeah, the oil on the dipstick looks normal.
It may be nothing, I've just never had it happen in any of my other trucks, and thought someone here could give me some insight.
Thanks,
allison from NS

Oil Troubles

It could be from normal condensation. I would check the PCV system for proper operation. Are you losing any coolant? What engine?

Oil Troubles

I had a DODGE van that did that. As you ghange the oil every 3000 miles it shouldn't be a problem.
