Under Hood Light
Hello:
I am a new member who just bought a 04 Limited after hydroplaning and totaling my 97 Dodge pickup. I really
luv this vehicle......it's awesome! However it does not have
a light under the hood. I usually check my oil every morning
and it was not an issue until the time changed, but now that it
is still dark when I leave for work a light would be nice. Anyone
have any suggestions? I noticed two wires (blue & white I think)
coming out of a wiring harness under the hood on the driver's side. Could these possibly be for a light?

Put a test meater on them it there is power. Use a flash light till then 
OK I went and looked, the hood light wires are black, green with a yellow stripe and they come out of the harness right above the brake booster.
