Throttle Body Spacer
I HAVE A 99 EB EXPO 5.4 AND A FRIEND OF MINE GAVE ME A THROTTLE BODY SPACER. I AM TEMPTED TO PUT IT ON BUT I DON'T WANT IT TO DECREASE MY FUEL CONSUMPTION. I WANT TO KNOW IF ANYONE INSTALLED ONE AND IF IT HELPED THE GAS MILEAGE. THANKS ALOT

I've not installed one personally, but have followed several posts. What I've gathered is they don't really do any good....don't know if it'd hurt though.

Oh yeah, the Airaid makes a real nice whistle/squeal especially if you have aftermarket air intake installed. I took mine off and sold it on eBay. Ah, the sound of air rushing into my engine without the squeal, tis a beautiful sound.
