Kinda like to see some folks attend a regional meet before traveling all the way to Kansas or the big MO.

Yeah I agree. I wasn't able to attend the one in b/cs, and the two you said you had i never even heard about

But we have sense had two threads about possibly having one in the future... but nothing seems to happen. Any ideas anyone?

I'll go to the national meet next year mabey. After Christmas i should be able to travel more places and mabey attend a meet here in Texas.
This weekend i'm going to go up to Texas Motor Speedway and go to the "Audi Driving Experience for teens" and get to drive an Audi A4 and learn advanced manuevering skills. This sounds pretty fun.
I got brake parts for my truck today also, and some more are coming in tomorrow. I and putting on new pads/shoes, rebuilt calipers and wheel cylinders, and I'm also going to turn the rotors and drums. Ive already replaced the brake lines and the master cylinder. After that i'm going to put the hood on and have it painted and may have it on the road by christmas. That would be awesome.
In other news both our Football and Volleyball teams are out of the playoffs so no more pep rallies this year Thats to bad because that was the best part of school. Some of yall may have heard about our "can fans" where we take freon cans and put ball bearings in them and shake them to make noise. Some people even have larger propane cans and the seniors have a 55 gallon barrel with handles on it.
Oh, well, sorry for my ramblings....

Well......there seems to be a large number of FTEers that have expressed interest many times in a meet. Since no one made it to the first couple, what are the ideas for making one work? Seems to me that the big three cities have a large population of members. Why not set up a meet in the cities. Yes, I realize this will exclude a great number of us, but we really need to start somewhere.

As usual, I offer my place as a gathering point. It is central in the hill country. I am up for travelling to Austin or a great many other places. Let's not let the New England chaptersmoke us. I read about there meets, pretty impressive.

Soooooo....who's in?

Chris
