It would be nice is someone on here that was good with spreadsheets would put together a check off list that could be printed. The check off list would include all the known issues that have been reported on here for what to check when taking delivery. Just a thought. It would be nice..
I'm about to pickup my 2017 F350 CC LB 4x4 Platinum 6.2 tomorrow. Trading in a 2007 F350 Lariat CC LB 4x4 v10 (going to miss that motor) with +375000 kms on her. I had put this together based on trolling the threads here since I ordered the new truck Dec 1. Many thanks to all the members who've contributed lots of valuable info about their experiences (good an bad) - it's been very helpful to me and I'm sure many others.

Orrrrr....YOU could be a huge hero, comb through the posts, and create a list of known issues that members should check before taking delivery of their vehicles. Seriously, it would make for a most amazing second-ever post! If it becomes a sticky, you would be immortalized!

1. Check your Air Cabin Fan in manual mode to validate it will step through all 7 fam speeds.
Mine was delivered with a faulty fan module. The system only knew 3 speeds and once it hit the highest speed it can not be lowered without cutting off the system?
2. Check Sync3 system using USB music source. Mine rarely connects and if it does it will lose connectivity after a few minutes. This appears to be a USB communications protocol issue between Sync3 Onyx Version 2.0 and at least Apple. My servicing dealer can reproduce it with another 2017 in their showroom. I have an escalated case with Ford opened on it and hoping Sync3 2.2 will fix it but no confirmation from Ford that it specifically will.
