Doing some trouble shooting here . I have an 89 Aero with the 3.0 and manual trans. Driving home one night and the engine just up and dies on me like I had just turned the key off. It would turn over just fine but had no intention of starting. All the fuses are good, checked the fuel trip switch just in case and it wasn't tripped. I didn't have my tools or a flashlight with me so I calls the wife and tell her to bring the tow strap and tools and flashlight with her. She shows up and now that I have a flashlight I check the relays under the hood and everything seems fine. I get back in and turn the key and it starts right up ??. It gave no warning when it quit. I live at the end of a mile long dirt road with pot holes big enough to get lost in so it gets shook up pretty good at least twice a day so I'm thinking that maybe I had a loose conection somewhere and while I was fiddling under the hood I may have done something to it, but what? Has this happened to any of you and if so did you find the problem ?
