Just got off the phone with my dealer - they were checking into my reverse sensor as it didn't seem to work as well as my 02 did.. Well, come to find out, dealer finally got ahold of Ford engineering today and they said they have reduced the sensitivity on the 05 from 6 ft down to 4ft. Why, I have no idea, but for all of those like me who got adjusted to the alarm going off at a certain distance, time to re-adjust....just don't run over your neighbors bike while "adjusting"!!!!

I believe another change they made is that if you disable the sensor it stays disabled from reverse to drive to reverse until the next key cycle. At least mine did the last time I disabled it.
