which would u choose and why i can get a single lid alum bright standard depth weatherguard for 335
or a bright alum xrta deep delta pro for 319
deep delta for 20 less and delta reg depth for 20 less again
cant decide
also i have pic in gallery would you all look and give opinoin on bright alum or black alum plz
If i were you i'd go with the Delta because of the name. Both are built good but i've always heard of Delta lasting longer from guys i know. They always abuse them as they work well drilling. We don't have delta boxes on our trucks. we just pickup whatevers cheapest. My grandpa owns a construction company. Just my $0.02
I think you made the right choice. I have a black Weatherguard on my truck and I love it. It's strong enough that I can stand on it to wash/wax the truck and it doesn't flex. Rap on it and it even sounds tough compared to some of the cheaper brands. I paid $400 for mine a couple years ago. It's kind of high in the back window, but I can use my side mirrors well enough for backing up anyplace. I've had mine for about 3 years now and it's still strong as ever and doesn't leak a bit.
got mine for 350 at farm and home it was marked down from 479 because they cant sell them (too expen) so i figured for 10 dollers more thatn the delta i got a better box
I've had leaks with Delta's. No leaks ever since switching to Weatherguard. The Weatherguard seems more sturdy as well, the lids haven't bowed and the hinges and latches have lasted without a problem.
