i have the greay one and i have no CLUE how much oil is in my truck. everytime i pull it out, it's all wet everywhere with to real mark. i put in 3 gallons of oil and thats it, no idea where it's sitting....
aresixx, with the engine warm, pull out the dipsick and clean it off. Leave it out for 20-30 minutes to let the oil drain out of the dipstick tube. Then try to take another reading.
You can also check it in the morning before you start it, it will give you a very clear reading, before I changed to the gray one it is the only way my old eyes could see the black on black.
