Headlight switch gets hot.
I have a 1980 f-250 3/4 ton 4 wheel-drive truck. The problem I am having is that if I drive it for a few hours at night with the lights on. When I get home I notice that the headlight switch is very hot. Is that normal or is there a problem that I don't know about? Any help on this would surely be appreciated.

These switchs get some age on them and dust inside and the go bad and produce resistance and heat. the plug is most likely bad from the heat. Had to replace both the first of the year!
