Noticable Power increase with 3v

Do you guys think or know that the new 3v has a noticible power increase in power han the 2v one?

I test drove a 04 2v V10 and then 05 3v V10 and yea I noticed a power difference !

thats good because my 01 kills hemis so now i can literally destroy them. But has anyone had the banks power pack for the v10. it says i will give you like 60+ horsepower

My 05 3 valve and torqueshift 5R110 tranny spinning 4.30:1 vs. my 01 2 valve 4R100 4 speed auto tranny spinning 3.73:1 is much stronger. I find smoking Hemis to be passe and boring as it never was a problem with either truck. Now beating a ricer, with more Watts than HP, is mucho fun!

In a word the 60 extra HP of the new V10 is very noticable. And yes the full Gale Banks kits do make more power but mostly higher in the rpm band. Not too good for empty cruising but big improvement for folks hauling heavy up in the tall mountains.

im still deciding between the 4:10 and the 4:30 rear end. Whats your rpm at like 60-70mph with the 4:30 gears

01 2vV10 4R100 trans 3.73:1 rear and stock 31.2 inch tires: 70MPH = 2000RPM + a needle over the tick mark

05 3vV10 5R110 trans 4.30:1 rear and stock 31.7 inch tires: 70MPH= 2200rpm just a needle shy of the 2250 tick mark
