I have had a lot going on at work this year and the rest of the time has been spent with the family. I haven't been doing much with the vehicles this year. Have only wheeled a couple of times and went to The Glen for only one weekend. Just haven't had time to do much besides some work on the house. Maybe next year will be better.
well, its still running, outlasted the 89. started wet sanding the primer the last owner sprayed on over the original paint. found out, NO HEAT. blower not working, have power to blower box but not sure if wired correct or if blower just not working. Needless to say, it's a bit of a cold drive. Borrowed an engine hoist from my dad and am going to swap the engine in the 89 lincoln i have into the 89 bronco. hopefully i don't have toooooooo many issues. how are things going with you?

Don't you just love the stuff that people do to their rigs?!? I just had the same issue with the Rover about a month ago with the heater giving out. Got that fixed asap. Good luck with the engine swap. I have been chasing down a hesitation issue with my son's Honda. The only rig running good is my Ford SD!! Things are going good. Just too busy at work. How about with you?
busy at work here as well. Lost one guy, resigned, just got another back after 3month disability. also got put on the after hours on call list. lots of OT every other week for after hours service calls. it never ends
Yeah I hear you. Well just think, with all the OT you will have the money to really soup up the Bronco!! Too bad I am exempt so I don't get paid for my extra time. We lost one of managers so I had to pick up her responsibilities. We hired her replacement, but are in training mode now.
What is the engine out of the 89 Lincoln? 5 liter like what was in your Bronco before? Good luck in doing the swap.
5.0 in both vehicles. hopeefully sholdn't be to difficult. i hoping to pull one engine out and just put the other in and then play with the electronics to get it to run. I have a feeling 4wd may not be the same tho, different cams. but they might not be too much different. the lincoln is a 6 pass stretch limo.
Now that would be a cool 4x4 for grins and giggles!! lol Hope the swaps works out for you. The electronics are always a pain nowadays. I wish I still had my '77 F-150. Anyone could work on it. I look under the hood of my '99 SD and just shake my head sometimes when I see all the sensors.
HI guys! I'm still in Rochester w/my Mom. She's doing a little better but hasn't made as much progress as I'd hoped for before my leave ends. I HAVE to go back to work soon. At least we're on the right track though - we should be as she's now seeing 4 doc's w/a 5th to be added soon I hope.
It's too long a story for here but let's just say she's hanging in there! Please keep her in your prayers ok? Thanks!
Great to hear from you. We have all missed you. Glad to hear that your Mom is doing better. How are you doing? I hope you are taking care of yourself. Keep in touch.
Angela,
Glad to hear your moms doing better...Been busy here with the kids and school and work...Maby we could start thinking about a Holiday get together in Buffalo ?
