I got my thermals on! It's tough when its 56 in the morning,70 at lunch time and mid 80's by the time i drive home from work, I had to get a supercab so I could keep my jackets,sweatshirts,tshirts,shorts and swimsuit in the truck at all times

Dennis, I know what you mean about wearing t shirts and shorts down there. Last year in Disneyland, we could pick out the tourists a mile away, by the shorts and t shirts. All the locals were wearing long pants and heavy sweaters, if not parkas too.
i moved here from laramie, WY. that was about 7,300 ft. i have to say that when i forst moved here i wore shorts all year long. but after 15 years, i have climatized (read: wimpified). kameronth is right, it is the wind chill that makes it cold here.
