greases frontend, it still didnt help.
power steering fluid full
squeakes when you turn the wheel either way
wife turned wheel while i watched, and it looks to be coming from the pitman arm bolt. shall i just rub greese on it? is it normal?
If you put your hand on the componets, i.e. pitman arm, tie rod end, ball joint, etc, while someone turns the steering wheel back and forth, you will feel the vibration on the squeaky part. If it squeaks, it probably needs replacing.
To confirm the location, spray the joint that you think it is with some penetrating oil and it will change the sound or go away. It is only temporary tho.
thanks, ill try that. i crammed greaese with the gun around the nut that bolts the pit man arm to pump and it didnt help. could it be the steering dampner? ill try to have a friend help.
maybe tire man will look, while its in for tires tommorow
