I am looking for some inexpensive performance parts for my 93 ranger like pulleys and etc: i ve tried motor haven and truck performance but cant find stuff like i can afford. im in high school so money is tight for my truck
aftermarket exhaust($75), air cleaner($25), headers($600), pullyes,(go to ASPpulley website, $90), also, go to rogueperformance.com, he has some stuff for the 3.0
You won't find too much for a 3.0L engine but you can put a K&N air filter in which will be about $50.00, remove the airbox silencer cone and enlarge the hole in it (free), Advance timing a little bit, but make sure you don't get any pinging from it (free), get a high flow muffler like a flowmaster $90.00. Then you can get a underdrive pulley from www.rougeperformance.com which if I remember is 75.00. At that point you start getting into more expensive or time consuming mods, if you can do it port matching the intake is good, and perhaps half-shafting the throttle. I would recomend staying away from any MAF modification though. Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.
