Sticking Gas Pedal
1998 Ranger, 49,000 miles.
When I first pull off in the truck after sitting overnight, the gas pedal seems to be sticking, like when you punch it, it breaks loose,
sort of....maybe something needs to be lubricated....any idea what and lube with what....?????

Sticking Gas Pedal
I have a 98 2.5 that did the same thing. I shot some carb cleaner up the throttle body to clean out any varnish and it cleared right up. Unfortunately, it also ate into the guts of the Idle Air Control (IAC) and I ended up replacing it a month later. Be careful.
