Quick question about a sub

I've had my 2 12" 1200 watt system forever now, but it's been in my car. I just made a new box and put one of them in my truck. I forgot however, what way to wire up the voicecoils. It's a DVC, and I don't remember if you connect the 2 voice coils ++ --, or +- +-.

There is a pos. and a neg. per coil.

Assuming your amp is 2 channel, you should have a positive wire leading from the amp to voice coil, aswell as a negative wire leading from amp to voice coil. Repeat this again for the other coil.

Imagine each coil having two pegs coming out of it, one colored red, the other black. Red standing for pos. Black representing a neg. Hope this helps
