Thanks for the help, guys. This is the first vehicle I've ever owned with power locks and remote. You're right, the procedure for deactivating the autolock feature was in the manual. I guess I quit reading truck manuals about my 4th pickup truck, which would have been sometime in the early 90's.

Satrial- I'm sorry that I give you that impression. I'm still working on it.

Hey all. I have not reviewed the manual yet, but i know how to turn the auto lock off. However, I wondered if there is a way to have the rear doors auto unlock lock most other cars when I put it in park.

Yeah, I like the doors to auto lock. I just don't like the passengers in the back seat to be held hostage until I press the unlock button! I don't have passengers that often, so I get out of my truck forgetting that they can't get out!
