My 04 F-150 S/C w/5.4 Auto all of a sudden started today to turn the OD off by itself. Today i was in 4Wheel High and all of a sudden the OD/Off light comes on. It also did it this afternoon w/o being in 4Wheel. Anyone had this happen to them?

 

See your friendly Ford Service Department. When a transmission fault occurs, the computer automatically shuts off the over drive. You should also see a transmission faoult warning message.

 

Where would I see a transmission fault warning message?
